Bunny O'Jam: The Luck of the HARE-ish

Celebrate LEAP year and lucky convergance of all things Lapine and Leprauchan! This 'ill be a double whammy of a holiday JAMmy! So green your jellybean and follow the rainbow to the pot of golden carrots and eggly delights... ...but beware the dreaded Octalapine that guards the snakes and pot of mold!

Bunny Jam is happening on April 26th folks! And as I mentioned earlier, I'm going to be getting full on weird with my set from Midnight to 1:23a in the downstairs dancefloor area. Knowledge of Bunny Jam has apparently spread fairly wide, so I'd suggest getting there early to make sure that you get in as well as maximizing the fun. ;)

Full details are here. (be sure to check out past pictures for inspiration.)

And for a little sampling of the musical weirdness, be sure to check out some of Neon Bunny's sets. You definitely don't want to sleep on this one.

Hope to see you on the dancefloor!

Fall Equinox Marathon on KZSU

Just wanted to make sure folks knew about a special marathon we're airing today (Sept 21st) and tomorrow (Sept 22nd) on KZSU. Over the years, since '92 or '93, we've been celebrating the Solstice with a 24 hr. marathon. It has since evolved into an almost entirely House marathon in recent years. As such, we also started celebrating the Equinoxes with another 24 hr. marathon, highlighting genres other than House. This time around we've taken it all the way to celebrate good old Techno. So we'll be bringing you 24 hrs. of Techno, beginning today at Noon pacific time.

And the folks who will be bringing you the Techno? Well....

Noon - 2p: Holt (KZSU)
2p - 5:30p: J.C. (KZSU, AuraSF, Epiphany)
5:30 - 6:50p: Compulse (aka Shazbot) (Dinner Party Records, West Add Radio)
(6:50p until approx. 9p is a broadcast of the volleyball game.)
9p (approx.) - 10:30p: Catharsis (EGR Records) - hosting Fractured
10:30p - Mid: DJ Toro Toro
Mid - 2a: The French Fever (Evolution Entertainment)
2a - 4a: Disconnect (DEF)
4a - 6a: DJ Baby Daddy
6a - 8a: Congruence
8a - 10a: DJ Mike Perry (nice)
10a - Noon: Minimalistik (Shadyvil) (Satan, Vishnu and The Flying Spaghetti Monster - San Francisco) (hell of a combination.)

New Mixes available

Check the downloads page for a couple of new mixes. One is a Progressive mix recorded for the Progressive Experience online radio show. The other is a "kitchen sink" mix (at least that's what I like to call it) covering as wide a mix of genres as moved me at the time, from Jackin' Chicago House, to Electro, to Techno, to Progressive, to Trance and Psy Trance. A favorite mix of mine.

Another NEW Mix online

I've uploaded the 1st techno mix that I've released. Nice mind flossing Swede stuff!! You can stream it here. Don't forget to check out the other music on the downloads page. (It's suggested that you utilize the Pyramide Data MP3 Splice output pluging for WinAmp for gapless playback.)

NEWEST Mix online

I've got the latest mix finally uploaded on the waxdj.com site. It's a very nice banging trance mix!! Go to my waxdj.com profile and you can either stream it or download it (save them some bandwidth and download it.) Don't forget to check out the other older mixes and music on the downloads page. (It's suggested that you utilize the Pyramide Data MP3 Splice output pluging for WinAmp for gapless playback.)

Past recordings: Sets from the Spring Equinox marathon on KZSU

Copies of recordings of both sets I did for the Spring Equinox marathon on KZSU will be available SOON. To get your own copy, in an email to jc@jcthedj.com specify if you'd like the Techno set or the Trance set. Thank you to all who tuned in!!
